The Biwak was built in 1955 and has strong roots in the region. In 2017, the building was completely renovated to offer you a modern home away from home.
We are situated in a great location in St Anton am Arlberg with four cosy, well-appointed apartments for our guests to choose from.

BIWAK TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP.
Our name is no coincidence. Although you don't need a sleeping bag when you stay overnight with us, we offer the best location for alpine sports enthusiasts, opposite the Nassereinbahn cable car station.
The Biwak is situated in St Anton am Arlberg and is the perfect place to stay for exploring the Austrian Alps all year round. In winter, you can reach our apartment house without snow chains. The ski and hiking bus stop is only a short walk away. But guests staying at the Biwak won't have to wait on the ski bus as Nassereinbahn station is directly opposite the apartments! Your skiing adventure begins right outside your front door.
On the ground floor of the Biwak you'll find the Intersport Arlberg store and just a few metres away there is a ski school. If you would like to go shopping or for a meal, St Anton's pedestrian zone offers a wide range of shops and restaurants and is only a short walk away.
